Dear Parents,

• Our summer camp program is back! The official start date is Monday, June 30^th and camp will run until Friday, August 29th.
• Our last day of school is June 20^th. We offer day care June 23-June E-mail or call the office if you need day care.
• As we look beyond the 9 weeks of summer fun, I want you to know that we are open the week of September 2nd – 5th for those who need additional childcare before the school year starts.
• Day Care for that week would be in addition to your summer
• We will be closed on Friday, July 4^th for Independence
• Day Care families that are keeping the same schedule for summer will keep the same monthly payment – but remember to register and pay the registration fee.

We have planned an exciting summer for the children and look forward to sharing these experiences with your children. There will be weekly themes to provide variety and to make camp fun and educational for the children.

Summer calendars will be e-mailed so you’ll know what the “kids are up to” each day. The calendar will let you know when it’s Sprinkler Day, Soccer Shots, Ice Cream Truck Day, Music/science, etc. LOOK FOR THE ICONS!

If you need to make any changes to your summer schedule, please do so before the start of camp by email to peacechristian@verizon.net or call us at 631-589-0651.

Sprinkler Days: Sprinkler days will be Tuesday’s and Friday’s every week.

• Children should come to school with their swimsuit under their regular clothes. It’s a quicker transition out to the sprinkler when all the children come with their swimsuits
• All children will put on dry clothes following their sprinkler portion of the
• PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING
• If you child isn’t dressed for sprinkler day, they will have to sit out

Ice Cream Day: On Thursday the ice cream truck comes to Peace. If your child is here on Thursday and you want them to have ice cream – fill out the permission slip and your bill will be charged at the start of camp. (No more having to go home to get $4 because you forgot in the morning rush)

Sun Screen: PLEASE APPLY TO YOUR CHILD BEFORE BRINGING TO CAMP FOR THE DAY

Foot wear: Children should wear sneakers or water shoes (sprinkler days)

Paper Towels & Baby Wipes: We ask that every family donate three paper towels rolls and three packages/containers of baby wipes to be used in the classroom this summer.

Diapering Fee: There is a 15% “Changing Fee” for children not potty trained. If this was not added to the total, please make the adjustment on your total tuition payment. 

Billing procedure: Payment is due in full by the Friday before the first day of camp. 

This promises to be a summer filled with laughter and learning, and we look forward to sharing it with your children!
